Abstract

For the fourth consecutive year, Panama City dressed as host for teachers and students from Latin America in the IX Theoretical-Practical Course on Interventionism for Chronic Pain Control. The Latin American Academy of Interventional Pain Physicians (ALMID), the Cenit Foundation for Research in Neurosciences, the Latin American Federation of Associations for the Study of Pain (FEDELAT), and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Panama, once again formed a team academic and operational together with our sponsors with the purpose of teaching, first-hand, to specialists in the area of pain management, the globally endorsed techniques for the relief and safety of patients with chronic pain that is difficult to treat.
