Welcome Letter

Abstract

It is a real pleasure to invite you to actively participate in the imminent Latin American Summit of Functional Neurosurgery and Neuromodulation that will take place in the attractive city of Mendoza, Argentina, from December 5 to 7, 2019. During it, events will take place coincidentally. the “IX Joint Scientific Meeting of Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay – ABCUR”, the “XX Annual Meeting of the Latin American Society of Functional Neurosurgery and Stereotaxia – SLANFE” and the “I Meeting of Latin American Chapters of the INS”, with the aim to centralize efforts and optimize the resources of the participating societies, aiming for greater scientific participation and exchange.
These scientific meetings, with a true imprint on the medical community involved in the field of functional neurosurgery, stereotaxy and neuromodulation, have contributed since their inception to the promotion, dissemination and outstanding level that this fascinating specialty has currently reached on our continent.
