EditorialAbstract
Welcome to a new edition of NeuroTarget. On this occasion, as has happened every two years in recent times, this issue of NeuroTarget is completely dedicated to the scientific production generated during the celebration of the ABCUR IX Meeting, on December 5, 6 and 7, in the city from Mendoza, Argentina.
Additionally, we have the original work, in extenso, “Safe approach to the subthalamic nucleus. Impact of the parasagittal angle greater than 20 degrees”, prepared by the working group in which Dr. Nelson Quintanal, leading neurosurgeon of the International Center for Neurological Restoration (CIREN), located in the city of Havana, Cuba, participates. Reading his work sparked memories of my initial approaches to the fascinating world of functional neurosurgery.
