Abstract

Although telemedicine began to be used many years ago, with the restriction on access to consultations due to the Covid-19 pandemic, its use was widely extended to the field of movement disorders.
In this short article we would like to share our experience regarding the use of this tool when making programming adjustments to patients with deep brain stimulation for movement disorders, which began during times of pandemic, and which we have now adopted as part of weekly care.
