International Symposium on Stereotactic, Functional and Pain Neurosurgery

Abstract

From April 30 to May 2, 2007 we have had the satisfaction of celebrating in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia a successful event that brought together several of the most prominent medical and surgical specialists in Stereotactic, Functional Neurosurgery and Pain Management of our Latin America. Under the multidisciplinary imprint that characterized this meeting, we received the endorsement of the Latin American Society of Functional Neurosurgery and Stereotaxia (SLANFE), the Colombian Association of Neurosurgery (ACN), the Colombian Association of Neurology (ACN), the Colombian Association of Biological Psychiatry and from the Colombian Association for the Study of Pain (ACED), all with active participation in the event. It was attended by more than one hundred specialists and subspecialists from different disciplines who, involved.
