We are in a new volume of Neurotarget, maintaining the periodicity established from the beginning thanks to the fluid and permanent participation of the colleagues involved in this fascinating and thriving specialty. Continuing with the philosophy of disseminating to each of you the production generated in this specialty based on the relevant events that take place on our continent, we decided on this occasion to capture the scientific material originating from the First International Joint Meeting on Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery & 8th Congress of the Brazilian Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery (BSSFN): “The Future Today!” held between May 16 and 19 of last year in Rio Quente, in the state of Goiás, Brazil.
