12th World Congress on Pain

Between August 17 and 22, the 12th IASP (The International Association for the Study of Pain) World Pain Congress was held in Glasgow, Scotland. Those of us who had the opportunity to attend this magnificent event found an attendance of approximately 7,000 professionals from different parts of the world and belonging to very varied disciplines, which makes those of us who have promoted interdisciplinary as a basis from our workplaces especially proud. fundamental of this “specialty” not yet recognized as such in many of our countries.
