The dorsal root ganglion (DRG) has been shown in recent years to be a relevant structure in the treatment of pain due to the current technical capacity of selective neurostimulation. Although it was initially proposed with an anatomical coverage solution, clinical experience has shown superiority in the treatment of pain associated with certain pathologies. The following text will attempt to succinctly explain the implant technique for DRG stimulation at lumbar levels.
