A tribute to Prof. Dr. Armando Basso

Armando Jorge Argentino Basso was born on October 8, 1934 in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, son of Maria Luisa Roch-Pérez, whose family came from Spain, and Armando Basso, of Genoese origin. One of his four brothers was Italo Basso, head of the Medical Clinic of the Italian Hospital, founder and director of the Anchorena Sanatorium.
