Dear Readers,
Since its inception, the Latin American Federation of Associations for the Study of Pain (FEDELAT) has focused, among other things, on the updating and dissemination of pain concepts useful in the daily practice of Latin American professionals who daily battle against this universal scourge.
In this sense, in 2009, Dr. Edward Rabah was responsible for preparing the first FEDELAT Pain Guides with a massive and positive impact on the medical community in the region, demonstrating their practical usefulness.
The dizzying progress in recent years regarding knowledge about the diagnosis and treatment of pain stimulated FEDELAT to undertake, at the end of last year, the preparation of the “FEDELAT Guide for the management of common pain symptoms in clinical practice in Latin America”.
