During his professional visit to Argentina, Prof. Paolo Mazzone gave us an interview in which he shared his points of view on innovations applied to the field of Parkinson's surgery. His experience in the surgical treatment of patients with extrapyramidal symptoms and predominance of axial disorders related to balance and gait, allowed for the first time in Argentina to perform a surgical intervention through stimulation of the pontine peduncle tegmental nucleus.
