Dear readers:
I consider that we are facing a unique number of NeuroTarget. I couldn't classify it as "special", but I could classify it as "different".
Usually, the dissemination of certain little-known aspects of public figures can give rise to debate and even controversy due to conflicting, antagonistic positions and ideas. Even more so, when it is a personality recognized in each of the most remote corners of a Nation that, during its short but intense existence, has ignited such deep feelings in its people.
However, the seriousness and respect with which a delicate topic like this has been treated has persuaded us to share with you the valuable information that arises in the research work "New contributions on the neurosurgical treatment of pain, anxiety and agitation in the medical case of Eva Perón. Antalgic functional neurosurgery in 1952", pointing out the medical and historical fact, stripped of any subjective tint.
The weight of the trajectory and recognition in the international medical community of each of the authors has not been less important at the time of accepting this article for publication.
